Yay.... I think!

Soooo, let's talk Mortgages.

Had the advisor meeting yesterday with Halifax, everything went well to be Ho eat. She said were perfect candidates as far as Halifax is concerned, perfect credit rating and she can see we could afford it. However, we were accepted for up to 96k but only with a 10% deposit 😭 

We only have 5% and I can't see us every being able to save up any more than that. So disappointed, I really wanted them to just say yeah perfect you can have it and come home knowing 100% we have it. Now it's like, yeah you can if you can find an extra 5grand.

So anyway then we decided to try our look with Santander over the road. I was hoping to book an appointment but luckily they had an advisor ready to see us straight away. She didn't do a credit check etc because she said their policy is that they do all that after you've found a home. 

She went through all the calculations and it came up and said we could get 90k with 5% deposit! :DDD The only problem is because it wasn't a full application. We could put an offer in for a house and then have the mortgage rejected like it was in Halifax. So nerve wracking :( 

Hopeful

On Monday we have a mortgage advisor meeting eeeeeeek!! Exciting but I'm Soo nervous as well. 

There's a really nice house we like round the corner which has just been reduced to 85k, and we have 5% deposit so hopefully we have a good chance :)

Muse, Dreads and Claire ♥

Yes... Muse was friggin awesome! :D I was a bit dissapointed that they wern't very interactive, however they have no faults what so ever for performance. They're perfect live, sound pretty much exactly like the Albums which is great :) And the set up, my god it was amazing. lasers, big structures, giant balloons which wer thrown onto the crowd haha I'm not dissapointed that I missed Bomfire night, and thats saying something :)

I've also put my dreads in *yay* Black and blue, looks great :) Had loads of good comments, and they're Scott approved aswell :D yaaaay haha. According to Scott they're the "Best Rei dreads ever" w00pw00p ^_^

Also, we went out for Claires birthday yesterday! :D Was aweeesoooome. Went to Claires house first for a lil house partay and had marshmallows with Chocolate fountain-ness mmmm ^-^ And then Sausage Rolls and Chocolate fountain-ness nnyyyeeeemmmm ^{*thanks Leah♥*}, and then about a bazillion strawberries whilst talking to Tet haha :P And I had lots and lots of Lambrini LOL
Got to meet Claires family too for the first time which was nice, they're all so lovely :) Also met lots of other new people too, now just gotta try n find them on Facebook which should be erm...fun.
Then we went to the Swan and bumped into Scott n Nikki which was good :D Annnnnd then off the K we trotted. Was an awesome night all in all ^-^ muchly fun. Claire looked like she had a good night too which I'm happy about :) ♥ and she liked her presents! Yay ^-^ I thought she might like em cause it's the type of thing I'd want haha :P
Oh and now i'll say something very depressing.... I've watched all the episodes of House now :( booohoooo. Gotta wait for the next episode like normal people do, its so weird i dont like it!

2nd week

Well... into the 2nd week of Uni!
I'm rather enjoying it so far :) Bit boring but I'm sure it'll get more interesting as time goes on :/ whether thats a good thing or a bad thing though i dunno! haha

Got our first piece of coursework today BLEHHH. I haven't done any form of course work or homework in... hmmm about 3 and a half years? haha I feel like a kid again!

Had an amazing night in Stevies on Saturday, everyone came round for a lil party while his parents are away ^_^ It was great cause I got to meet some new people - Tet, Sean & Helen, who are all so cool! I'm glad they came :D
I also liked the fact that I got to know some people a bit more :) Like Hayley, shes so funny! ♥ *pikapika* ^_^, Claire as always just amazing, once again found out more things which we have in common! haha, Gary the Daddy to be awww ^-^ and Roxie just lovely as always! ♥ Looks like Leah & Rox might have sorted everything out too so I'm happy :D I'm sure we're all gonna get along just fine! I love them all ♥♥♥ :)

Anyway, after that splosh oh loveydoveyness, My mum sent off the form for mine & Deanybobs home! So, hopefully this time next year I'll be living in my own house! Yaaaay.
