Oscars, ceremony & the fashion aaaand other shizzle

Well, first off I just wanna say, I've just made some green tea for the first time and its actually quite nice :) I think it will be a good substitute for tea, coffee & hot chocolate woooooo

Anywho, last night I stayed up to watch the Oscars! I absolutely love it, its like the Eurovision Song Contest I go crazy on that too haha

Did anyone notice the god on Clooney? What a nob he was a right narky twat all night :/ Maybe one of the guards wouldn't let him in with the flask he was carrying on the red carpet! haha And did y'all see that crazy ginger woman pull a Kanye when the guy was accepting his short film award haha crazy stuff.

Surprisingly the dresses wer all lovely this year, hardly any disasters at all :) Carey Mulligans dress was pretty awful :/ Really nice at when you're zoomed in but as soon as you see a full on body shot - my god! The length was just, i dunno.... odd! Should have been full length thats for sure.

Sandra Bullock was looking wonderful as ever! :) Even though she won a Razzie the night before and didn't get any sleep, she looked dazzling in that pale gold dress :) A real professional she is. I like her.

Diane Kruger - now that was a bit of a doozy :/ I just can't make my mind up with that dress! It suits her thats for sure, but I don't think anyone else could pull it off.

Helen Mirren has a really nice dress, although I wasn't too keen on the arms of the dress. From a distance it made her arms look really saggy and grey.

Kristen Stewart - wonderful. Yeah yeah, what a shocker the GOTH likes her black dress - so what its true :) I love it.

What can I say about Gabourey Sidibe....lol. Nah honestly, I'm envious that she managed to appear out of nowhere any become a somebody, shes very luck. My god though, that girl really does need to lose some weight, she has a pretty face and if she lost all that weight she would look great. Her weight is going to hold her back aswell in the business, shes limited to certain roles at the moment. And Blue definitely isn't her colour, she should have went for black or something dark with full sleeve arms to hide the folds.

My god, Cameron Diaz looked great didn't she! I absolutely loved the dress :) Kate Winslet, another beauty - not too keen on the Blonde hair though, I wish she'd go back to Auburn lol.

Me and Dean watched the red carpet special on APLive stream, and then watched the actual ceremony afterwards, 11.30 - 5am so proud I managed to stay awake haha :P I only fell asleep briefly for 10mins during the ceremony so not bad really.

Can't believe the Hurt Locker got 6 Academy Awards! I mean, it was a good film don't get me wrong but it wasn't AMAZING. Thats politics for you, a pro american heroic war film will always do well unfortuntely. I expected Avatar to the most awards, but surprisingly they only went away with 2 :/ Theres just no justice in this world at all haha

Not long till mine n deans aniv now :) Can't wait! I'm currently in the middle of making wool dreads for the first time, they're turning out well so far. I'll try and upload a pic when they're done :)

Wow not posted in ages

Well.. I *should* have loads of updates, but i can't think right now haha

So first off, in 5 days its mine and deans SIX year anniversary! I can't believe it, its gone soooo fast! lol ♥ Also, Hayleys birthday night out is the same day and its fancy dress, so me n dean r goin 4 a meal and then meeting everyone afterwards, and then im just gonna throw some fairy wings on haha :)

THENNNN.. the day after, thanks to my great friend Lewis, we'll be going to Hammerfest in Wales! :D Excellenté! I can't wait. Me n Dean are sharing a room in a hotel aswell, so its gonna be like for our anniversary kinda haha

I've also got bad news aswell though :/ My bursary has been fucked up thanks to the student loans company, and I won't be getting it for another few weeks ARGHHHH :@ bastards.

Fear Factory gig

Fear Factory was great! :) And Sylosis, wow. I predict that they're gonna be massive if they keep going the way they are! I think one of the highlights of the night was NOT missing the train aswell haha :P Nah it only took us 8 mintues to walk from the Academy to Oxford Road station, so I'm a bit confused. Also the train waiting about 4 minutes aswell before it left, unlike when we saw LOG. So yeah, extra confusion lol

Anyways, I'm now dreadless again lol. I decided it was time for them to come out cause my head was rather itchy and I knew my hair was gonna be really dirty :P I'll probs have more in though next week knowing me haha

Ohhh and yesterday Kevzie got in touch and linked me to his old Blog! haha awwww the memories :) ♥ I miss them days.

LOG, Valentines Day & Dload Fest :)

Well.... eugh what can I say.. LOG were great as always, its a shame that everything else wasn't too good. The support acts were a joke :/
Between the buried and me - played ONE 15minute song, which sounded like they had about 8 song ideas and because they were so lazy just thrown them all together to make one song.
August Burns Red - were surprisingly good, their music is utter poo on a stick, but they managed to keep the crowd sweet by having a great stage presence n stuff
Job for a cowboy - Do i even need to comment on them? They were just... diabolical :/ lol
As I said, LOG were great, always put on a good show and I was happy with that. There were a few dickheads in the crowd as expected, I ended up attacking a few of them haha (not like me at all)
So yeah, I was happy after the gig, put pretty dissapointed in everything else, and then just to put a cherry on the cake.. we missed the last train back to Liverpool :( Soooo.. ended up paying for a taxi which cost £60, 15 each so it wasn't *too* bad lol. Saying that though, you can see from the list of bands I've seen generally how many gigs i've been to. Me & Dean have probably been to about 50 gigs in Manchester and never ever had any problems, so it was bound to happen eventually.

Anyways enough of that bad time, Valentines day was great :) ♥ All day we just lay in bed, watching films/tv and eating crap haha Then we had richmond sausages and mash which was nice :) So yeah, has a good day haha. We don't buy eachother presents or anything cause we don't see the point in it. Its out anniversary in a month so we just celebrate that :)

Oh and Download Fest, w00p w00p. They've announced the rest of the headliners finally. It is now, ACDC, Rage against the machine, and Aerosmith! Its looking gooood :) I just hope I get my ticket on time before they sell out lol. They're announcing 5 more bands at midnight so I hope its some goodens.

Well, it started out as a bit of boredom, and turned into something pretty cool :) The photo above is something I made. I don't know how obvious it is.. but its me & Dean :) Our 6 year anniversary is coming up soon ♥

My question.. can the Borg ever experience love? Possibly Seven of Nine when shes been saved by Voyager, but even after that she was still truely Borg at heart. What I wonder is, can they feel love inside the borg collective mind.. or is it literally.. one mind? I know in Unimatrix 0, Seven apparently found love with her friend, but when she finished regenerating she supposedly forgot all about it :/ ...Interesting.

Oh, and what the hell is it with Seven saying futile wrong. She says it like 'foot-il' instead of 'few-tile' its weird, and bloody annoying for that matter lol

Oh man, I love Star Trek way too much :) ♥ I really need to rewatch all of TNG and VOY again haha

Rammstein ♥

Wow, Rammstein was just amazing! :D

I was actually surprised with how good Combichrist were aswell, they definitely surprised me :) And Rammstein, just brilliant lol. The pyro was immense, on every song something happened haha At one point during the song 'Pussy', Till Lindemann actually sat on this big cannon and covered us all in foam haha It was so cool. Got a good video of it :P

I haven't uploaded the videos yet, but I've got all the photos up. Rather dissapointed with my camera tbh, I thought it was going to be great for gigs but it isn't. The settings are weird, I can't choose what resolution I want only the quality. On my old camera I could choose good quality but low resolution :/ And the ISO settings are weird too. You have to either choose Off, 600, 800, 1600 :/ Which is also quite poo if I'm honest, I'd rather it just be able to decide for itself save me having to choose all the time lol

Anywho, here are some of the photos :) ...

Can't wait until they play at Sonisphere now, its gonna be great :)
