Reminiscing - High School Music ♥

After having a little convosation with Leah about the music she likes, she reminded me of a band which bring back very fond memories of High School times :)

Ahhh I miss the days of bopping around pretending to ride a skateboard, shouting random lyrics at the top of my voice and getting strange looks, and trying my very best to disobey the uniform rules by wearing tops underneath my shirt, wearing a black skirt or black tie or stripy socks and boots hehe :') Good times.

So, here is a list of songs which bring back some very cool memories.

Ok so I'll start off at the very beginning. Go back to me - age.... mehhhh about 8ish? Anyway.. walking around a jumble sale on my own with 50p and I spot something which I knew I'd seen before and I didn't know why... It was the Slayer - South of Heaven album. It was strange.. I knew I recognised it and I didnt know why. So I bought it. Keeping in mind around this time I was listening to things like The Spice Girls, bit of a strange buy for me. Anyway, my mum said my Dad used to have the album when I was younger & thats why I remember it.

Soooo... pop it on the ol' cd player and wow.. crazy heavy music. I liked it!! :D I remember transferring it to a casette tape so I could listen to it on my portable casette player on the way to Cornwall haha yeah.. IT WAS THAT LONG AGO. This was my favourite song at the time :)

Blink 182 - All the small things

Ok.. so I'm aged about hmmm... 11? It was 1999 anyways.. One random day.. listening to "The Box" whilst sitting on the PC and wahhhh something so delightful hit my ear drums.. a change from the usual crap.. pop punk. I was in love. Oh and as soon as I saw Tom DeLonge.. the obsession has begun.

Blink 182 - Whats my age again?

Is it wrong that I still know all the words to this song? Haha I remember the first time I ever saw this video.... my jaw was touching the floor, I was in heaven. At the height of my obsession, and they released a video of themselves naked pretty much haha.

Haha.. picture this.. me, on the very packed 61a bus on the way home after our first school trip to Camelot in year 7.. listening to this on my cd player, singing it at the top of my voice with my eyes closed (I was sitting on my own).. then opening my eyes only to realise everyone was staring at me haha :')

Hehe, now to fast forward to me in year 9.. I'd not long met Day and started hanging around with Kerry at dinner times. I remember sitting on the hill on the field in front of where they all used to play football, and I was listening to this song.. again, screaming at the top of my voice "SUGARRRRR" oh dear, god knows what they were all thinking haha :P

Sum 41 - Fat Lip

Hahaha I knew all the words to the rap at the start of the song.. how funny :') I remember running around the playground singing this. Oh and the end part haha loved it. Funnnyyyyy. Also my first ever gig, with Day, Kerry, Helen and Julie. Good tiiiimes.

Its mad that everyone was so close then, and now everyone has gone their seperate ways.. kinda sad really :(

Day now lives in Mansfield which is like the other side of the UK i think!
Stu, is in a band with Alex Monks (who is actually in the very background of the pics!! lol) But other than that, i've no idea what he's doing
Will (i think) goes to KGV, has a new gf and havent spoken to him in.. over 2 years i think! :(
Graham goes to Hugh Baird College and ive seen him a couple of times of the bus for a brief chat, but other than that no idea what hes upto!
Leah is still good old Leah lol, don't see her as much anymore as we both have different friends but shes still me bezzie! lol Hopefully we'll start going out more again soon ^_^
Helen now lives in New Zealand!! Other side of the world nearly! :( I didnt even get to say goodbye properly, i sent her a message over myspace though wishing her the best!
Kento goes to Hugh Baird College doing Music with Ck, and he has long hair now! lol I am good friends with his sister Jennie still though :)
Stevie is still a good friend and i speak to him quite often, probably not as much as i'd like to but i never see him around :( No more bus journeys! *sigh*
Kerry goes to KGV and makes movies about Mr. Coconut... lol.
Tim lives by my house but i never seem to see him, so i dont have any idea what hes upto anymore!

Oh well lol good memories!

Awwww, lol i still think it was mad that we all used to get on! Me, Leah, Keith, Amanda, Sarah and Nikki out on a day trip nowadays would be a trip to hell and back lol :P I still love them all though.. in my ass mostly lol.

Keith is now in a band called Rowyco and i havent spoken to him since Download 06!
Amanda can drive, but i havent saw her in her car yet and havent spoke to her in about a year!
Nikki is still kinda cute but has a beard lol I still speak to him all the time which is cool though :)
Sarah and I seem to not associate anymore due to bad/childish times.. but i guess we're all a child at heart lol
Leah doesnt wear pink much anymore.. its mainly leopard print nowadays lol
Linkin Park have turned ubershit and i realised a while ago, they always have been.
Kevzie has just left school and i dont speak to him much, but he came to my 18th Birthday Party :D
I have bright pink hair now..

I miss everyone!!

Ive not got pictures of anyone from college. But it was Leah, Matt, Ray, Laura and Hannah who i associated with really! Although we only just left, i miss everyone cause most of my friends left in the first year :(

Ok, so my site has only just been uploaded, there isn't much to offer at the moment and i'm stressed out! I can't handle everybody telling me that there isn't much here! 4 FUCK SAKE lol. I definitely need some chill pills dude! Anyhu, to add to it all.. i've got skool agen soon + we hav loads of xams cumin up!! I kan just about remember my times tables never mind all that hocus pocus about stuff dat i'll probably never need 2 use in d future newayz! Plus i've gota go in2 skool n giv Amanda, Kerry n Stacey der xmas presents which luk as if i got dem from Netto in d January Sales! I h8 xmas, i basically don't see d point in it. I mean.. come on... u hav parents spending hundreds of pounds on gifts 4 der kids, n den dunt get any credit 4 it bkoz "santa" brought dem thru d chimney! Hu kud believe dat anyway? It's a load of horse shit if u ask me.. but then agen, no1s asked me koz im jus little old Rei =(
